Nigeria Exported $65 Million of Cocoa to the Netherlands in the First Quarter of 2022

Nigeria exported premium-grade raw cocoa beans worth 27.16 billion naira ($65 million) to the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2022, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

The agency said in a report that Nigeria also exported the same grade of cocoa beans worth NGN 16.11 billion to Belgium in the same quarter.

The NBS said that standard-grade cocoa beans valued at NGN 6.70 billion and NGN 2.74 billion were exported to Germany and Malaysia respectively in the first quarter.
